Amazon offers the Breville Precision Brewer Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe (BDC450) for $199.95 shipped. Also at Williams Sonoma, Best Buy, or Bed Bath and Beyond. Normally closer to $200, this is a new all-time low that we’ve tracked at Amazon and the best available. This high-end brewer features Breville’s Steep & Release valve that holds the water in contact with the coffee, giving you a better brewing experience. Rated 4.2/5 stars.

If the high-end coffee game isn’t for you, there’s always Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Switch Coffee Maker for $20 shipped. This will let you make up to 12 cups of coffee at one go and is a fraction of the Breville above. However, this doesn’t offer anywhere near the high brewing quality nor the thermal carafe, so do keep that in mind.

Breville Precision Brewer features:

  • Breville’s patent-pending Steep & Release valve holds the water in contact with the coffee when small cup volumes are being brewed without the carafe in place, automatically.
  • In Gold Cup preset mode, The Breville Precision Brewer automatically adjusts the water temperature and brew time to meet the standards set by the SCA.
  • Brew any volume of coffee exactly how you like it with the Flat Bottom & Cone Filter baskets, both included.
