Update: Amazon is now matching the $229 price tag on Apple’s 9.7-inch iPad.

Walmart offers Apple’s latest 9.7-inch iPad Wi-Fi 32GB at $229 shipped in all colors Space Gray or Silver. Also available in 128GB Gold for $329 shipped (Reg. $429). Normally $329, this is $100 off the list price and beats our Black Friday mention by $20. If you missed out on Black Friday discounts, this is a great chance to pick up Apple’s latest at a steep discount.

Don’t forget to use your savings on a case or a tempered glass screen protector. Though the iPad is at a great discount here, you’ll still want to keep it safe from potential harm.

This iPad is compatible with Apple Pencil (the first generation), too, so it’s perfect for budding sketch artists and awesome for taking notes in school.

Apple 9.7-inch iPad features:

  • 9.7″ Multi-Touch Retina Display
  • 2048 x 1536 Screen Resolution (264 ppi)
  • Apple A10 Fusion SoC & M10 Coprocessor
  • 802.11ac Wi-Fi | Bluetooth 4.2
  • Front 1.2MP FaceTime HD Camera
  • Rear 8MP Camera
  • Apple Pencil Support
  • Night Shift | Touch ID Sensor
  • Lightning Connector
