Atila: Battle Angel:

Set in a dystopian 26th century and based on initial installments of Yukito Kishiro’s manga Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita, the film Alita: Battle Angel tells the story of Alita (Rosa Salazar), an anime-looking cyborg who is rescued by a cyber-doctor named Ido (Christoph Waltz) when she is found unconscious in the scrapyard of Iron City. Unable to remember anything about her former life, she learns to navigate her new world as she joins Ido in his work as a bounty hunter. But her life takes a turn when many of the criminals she’s hunting seem to know more about her past than she does. Directed by Robert Rodriguez (Desperado and Sin City) and produced by James Cameron, who cowrote the script along with Laeta Kalogridis. Also starring: Jackie Earle Haley, Eiza Gonzalez, Lana Condor, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein, and Jennifer Connelly.
