Twelve South’s BackPack is the hidden shelf your Apple Studio Display deserves, now down at a rare $35

Reg. $45 $35

Just after catching rare deal on its Time Porter Apple Watch band organizer down at $24.50, Amazon is now offering the Twelve South BackPack for Apple Studio Display down at $34.99 shipped. Regularly $45, this is a straight up 22% price drop at $1 under our previous mention. Today’s deal delivers a match for the lowest price we have tracked this year and the best we can find – it has only dropped any lower once on Amazon, which was a very brief one-day offer back in September of last year. Folks who already invested a pretty penny on an Apple Studio Display might want to consider throwing an extra $35 down to add some particularly handy extra storage space that keeps your gear (say a portable SSD) off the table top and out of the way. Hit the jump for more details.

The BackPack mounts on the back of the Apple Studio Display with a sort of invisible clamp that attaches to the monitor’s stand. Made of an aluminum finish, it matches the monitor it is connected to nicely and delivers a little bit of extra storage space in, what is at least for me, a particularly elegant fashion – the sort of shelving a monitor like this deserves without getting in the way of the Apple design.

Another particularly piece of elegant kit from the brand is also on sale today in the form of its Time Porter Apple Watch band organizer. This mountable rail delivers an Apple-worthy vibe to both neatly stow and show-off your Apple Watch band collection, leaving them entirely accessible and organized at the same time. Scope it out right here while it’s on sale.

Twelve South BackPack for Apple Studio Display features:

BackPack helps create an organized workspace by elevating hard drives, cables and dongles off your desk and giving them a dedicated space out of the way. By mounting on the back of the Studio Display, BackPack saves valuable desk space. Included high quality strap helps to keep hard drives or peripherals from moving and allows them to be stored on the top or bottom of the BackPack shelf. Display awards, buiness cards, impulse buys or retail signage facing customers if you use a Studio Display for checkout.
