We are now tracking some notable deals on one of the better internal SSDs out there for upgrading your gaming handheld. Amazon is now offering the 500GB and 1TB WD_BLACK SN770M M.2 2230 NVMe SSDs down at $66.29 and $84.14 shipped, respectively. These drives typically carry price tags closer to $85 and $110 as of late, with both capacities now landing at new Amazon all-time lows. While the 2TB model is sitting at about $35 above the best we have seen, folks looking for a more modest boost to their Steam Deck, ASUS ROG AllyLenovo Legion Go, or otherwise (as well as other gear and PCs that supports the smaller 2230 form-factor) might want to check these out. Head below for more details.

This solution from WD on sale above appears to be emerging as a favorite among handheld gamers, at least in part because of the TLC 3D NAND tech you don’t always find the more affordable options. It is made to “supercharge” handheld devices with speeds up to 5,150 MB/s alongside WD’s lengthy 5-year warranty. It is also compatible with the Western Digital Dashboard (Windows only) software for drive health management and more.

Elsewhere in storage deals, you’ll want to scope out the discount we spotted this morning on Samsung’s latest 2TB T5 EVO portable SSD at $158. Or just forget all of that and go repurpose your old internal SSDs with this ultra-affordable 10Gb/s NVMe SSD enclosure from UGREEN – it’s also just a great way to have more control over the internals of your external storage.

WD_BLACK SN770M 2TB Internal SSD features:

Get ready to download more games to your gaming platform with up to 2TB of storage on M.2 2230 with the WD_BLACK SN770M Mobile NVMe SSD. Bring your whole game library anywhere, any place you go. Turbo charge and increase the storage in your ultrathin laptop with WD_BLACK SN770M Mobile NVMe SSD with PCIe Gen 4.0.
