Update: Joining the $100 price drops on the aluminum models down below, we are now tracking solid discounts on the higher-end stainless steel models in both 41mm and 45mm sizes. Amazon has them starting at $599 and $649 shipped respectively – that’s $100 off, matching our previous mention, on par with the best we have tracked on almost all configurations, and this includes the silver, gold, and graphite stainless steel color variants.
While we did see some solid deals on Apple Watch Series 9 for Memorial Day, especially on the GPS + Cell models and these ongoing Ultra Watch 2 deals from $714, Amazon has now brought back some of the most notable price drops we have tracked on the GPS 45mm and 41mm configurations. Featuring the most affordable point of entry into the Series 9 configs, and, what is for me, the most attractive, Amazon is now offering the silver aluminum model Apple Series 9 on sale for $299 shipped in the 41mm size and $329 shipped in the 45mm. These straight up $100 price drops are also available on the Midnight and Starlight case treatments, and are now also matched at Best Buy. Both case sizes are now once again matching the Amazon low. Last time around, there were some limitations in terms of color and configurations, but between the Best Buy deals now live and the options at Amazon, just about all of the major options are marked down. You might want to take advantage of the sale price and then just flip the band out to something else – the main thing is that you lock-in the Apple Watch size and case color you know you want at the discounted rate. And for my money, the silver option goes a long way and works with a massive selections of band options, including everything from something sporty and light to some artisan brown leather and more.
Centered around Apple’s S9 chip, Apple Watch Series 9 is the latest in Apple wearable tech (without getting up into the Ultra tier of course). It will be some time before we see the next iteration drop to prices like this, so unless you plan on upgrading at much closer to the MSRP later this year, today’s deals are with a look. Series 9 is loaded with health and fitness tracking, the emergency features and one of Apple’s brightest displays (3,000-nits). Not to mention double tap pinch gesture support (details here).
