Less than a week ago Satechi debuted its new pro-grade Space Gray Thunderbolt 4 Dock, and the very first deal is arriving today courtesy of its official Amazon storefront. After clipping the on-page coupon, the total on the new Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Multi-Display Docking Station will drop down to $254.99 shipped from the regular $300 price tag at Amazon. It is still up at full price on the Satechi site. Today’s deal knocks 15% off the asking price to deliver not only the very first price drop we have tracked, but also the lowest. Our launch coverage details the latest docking solution from the brand and we will explore it further down below.

The new Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Multi-Display Docking Station features a Space Gray design made of aluminum with chamfered edges and a form-factor that works laying down flat on the desk or in a vertical orientation.

It expands a single Thunderbolt connection on your device with three downstream Thunderbolt 4 ports at up to 40Gb/s (or power at 15W), a pair of USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports at 10Gb/s, a UHS-II card reader, Ethernet, two HDMI ports, and combination 3.5mm audio.

It can support up to four monitors at 4K/60Hz resolutions, or 8K at 60Hz on “compatible devices when a single Thunderbolt 4 port is being used for video output.” And with its DisplayLink setup, M1/M2 or MacBook Pro M3 machines can run three monitors while MacBook Air M3 users can run four in clamshell mode.
