While you can still score the sweet official Apple Watch Leather Link in the smaller 41mm size at Woot for $24.99 Prime shipped (a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise), a rare offer on the 45mm model is now live on Amazon via the well-rated Sixth Avenue storefront at $49.95 shipped. The larger 45mm size is rarely offered for less and tends to sell out very quickly when it lands on Woot for under $50. While now discontinued at Apple in favor of the less-then-stellar (hated-by-most) FineWoven, this band sold for $99 and is now at least 50% off.
One of my personal favorite accessories Apple ever released for its intelligent wearables, the Leather Link features a Venezia leather treatment handcrafted in Arzignano, Italy. The tannery, which has an “artisan heritage spanning five generations,” uses a “delicate milling and tumbling process” to develop that pebbled texture while concealed magnets throughout the length of the band delivers an elegant fit (this model is the medium/large band fits 165 to 205mm wrists).
