Alongside some new all-time lows on the Pixel 7 Pro below, Amazon now has the current-generation Pixel 8 Pro starting from $749.99 shipped. Regularly $999 and currently fetching as much directly from Google, this is within $1 of this year’s official summer sale and the Amazon low. Today’s price drop is also only the third time we have seen Google’s latest dip this low since release. Google might indeed be launching the new Pixel 9 next month, but you likely won’t see price drops until the end of the year, and potentially not anything this deep until mid 2025.
The current Pixel 8 Pro landed for the first time last October as Google latest flagship smartphone. With the Tensor G3 chip at the heart of the operation and to power Google’s AI tech, everything is presented on the 6.7-inch Super Actua display. It features Pixel’s “best pro camera yet” and “Pixel’s best zoom ever” alongside an adaptive battery that can last over “24 hours” – engage Extreme Battery Saver for “up to 72 hours.”
