Amazon Prime Day is right around the corner – the brand new Echo Spot just debuted with an early deal too, and as promised, Walmart is launching its very own members sale starting right now. The deals span a massive selection of product categories, and are only available for members from now through 5 p.m. tonight when they will open up to all. While we will have to wait until July 16 for the official Amazon Prime Day offers to kick off, Walmart, much like Best Buy did last month, is looking to get an early jump to drive memberships (they are now 50% off, more on this below) and early sales.
Big-time Walmart Deals sale
As we detailed previously, the Walmart Deals sale is kicking off today at 12 p.m. ET for its members only. It will then open up to everyone at 5 p.m. ET this evening and run straight through until Thursday, July 11 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
You can indeed go secure a Walmart+ FREE trial to ensure you can get in on the deals early. But the retailer also happens to be offering a straight up 50% off its annual Walmart+ annual plans for folks looking to maintain a membership through this year and into next.
