Yeedi is back with a new take on what an all-in-one robot vacuum solution should be. There are loads of options out there, but in my opinion, most of them lack a feature here and there and narrowly miss the mark. In many regards, this model mirrors the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30S Combo that I reviewed back in May with one notable difference that some will love, and others may not. Yeedi C12 Combo is prepared for just about anything
In case you are unfamiliar, Yeedi is a sub-brand of ECOVACS. In many regards, you can view its lineup as a more budget-friendly alternative to the more premium offerings from ECOVACS. While not as high end, I can personally tell you after using and reviewing the company’s C12 PRO PLUS, that it still gets the job done.
Things are bound to be even better this time around too, with the Combo model’s inclusion of a stick vacuum. This is a move that should be adopted by more and more robot vacuum brands, if you ask me. Sometimes a robot can’t quite do what you want, and it’s good to know that you can easily grab a stick vacuum and do it yourself if the need arises.
The Yeedi C12 Combo doesn’t stop there though, with the stick vacuum also having a mop attachment along the base. Personally speaking, this makes a lot of sense because mopping doesn’t need to be done very frequently and when it does, it may only be a small area that you want to quickly spot clean. Sure, you can tell a robot vacuum to clean a designated area, but that can take quite a few taps opposed to just grabbing the stick vacuum and quickly doing it yourself.
So let’s break down the specifications. The robot vacuum itself offers up to 10,000Pa of suction, which is up there with some of the best. The stick vacuum comes with several attachments: including a floor brush, 2-in-1 dusting brush, and a crevice tool. Also, this model ditches the need for bags, thanks to an integrated 1.5-liter dust bin that you can empty and lock back in once you’re finished.
All of the various pieces of this all-in-one stow away nicely in the station. A feature I really liked in my review of the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30S Combo. Settings for the robot vacuum like suction power, scheduling, and more can all be managed using the Yeedi app that’s available for iOS and Android.
The new Yeedi C12 Combo is available starting today, and it has an MSRP of $899.
