Unlike the older Surface Pro keyboard that was recently discounted, this new Flex Keyboard offers better functionality with Bluetooth connectivity. That’s right, the new Flex Keyboard supports Bluetooth for wireless connectivity, meaning you can also use this keyboard when it is detached from the Surface Pro. It also has pins that connect straight to the Surface Pro when it is attached, but the added advantage of wireless connectivity allows you to place the tablet away from the keyboard, perhaps to get a better viewing angle by moving the Surface Pro back and keeping the keyboard close to you. The inbuilt battery is good for “41 hours of continuous typing,” and you can quickly top it up by attaching it back to the device.
