Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S9 now $387 under the most affordable S10 starting at $613 (Reg. $800)

The new plus and Ultra model Tab S10 have arrived, but Amazon is landing with a serious deal on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 in graphite at $612.49 shipped. This is a regularly $800 tablet that effectively remains the current-generation base-model flagship release – there its no standard S10 just yet. This model is still sold on the official Samsung storefront and currently for the full $800 MSRP. You can score up to $600 instant trade credit there, but Amazon is now offering one of the best straight up cash deals we have tracked with $187 in savings – this is well under the $650 we featured last month. 

Again, this is not the latest and greatest, but as of right now there is no base model S10, only Plus and Ultra sizes. That means today’s S9 deal lands at $387 under the lowest-priced S10 you can buy right now. While we have seen the beige 128GB S9 go for less than today’s featured deal a couple times, but not by very much and not for very long. The graphite model is matching the lowest we have tracked at Amazon and comes within $12.50 of the best on both colors. 

The S9, in my opinion, remains a flagship-worthy build with a more manageable 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen than the currently-available S10 models – I prefer the more compact tablet form-factors – alongside the armor aluminum frame, IP68 rating against spills and dust, and a still quite powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
