Apple’s monster 16-inch M3 Max MacBook Pro with 48GB of RAM now up to $700 off, more from $1,299

$700 off From $1,299
Apple-M3-MacBook-Pro-deal

Not all MacBooks are made equal, as you know. The sought-after 16GB models might soon become the base entry-level memory configuration, but if you are looking to leave those machines in the dust, Best Buy is now offering a massive price drop on this monster 16-inch M3 Max MacBook Pro. Sporting a whopping 48GB of RAM and a 1TB internal SSD, you can now score one of Apple’s most powerful laptops to date down at $3,499 shipped at Amazon, or $3,299 if you’re a My Best Buy Plus member. You’re looking at a regularly $3,999 configuration with as much as $700 in savings at the ready.

Today’s deal delivers at least $500 in savings to come within $100 of the lowest price we ever tracked before you factor in the special Best Buy Plus offer. This is clearly an overpowered and likely overkill machine for most users, but if you’re looking for the very best Apple has to offer right now (or close to it anyway – it goes up to 128GB of RAM), this is also a seriously massive price drop.

The new M4 MacBooks are right around corner, likely to see the light of day in the coming weeks if not sooner, but it might be a year before you see anything like this in terms of a discount. If the new machines start with 16GB of RAM this time around, the M3 Pro Max beast we are featuring here today might very still leave them in its wake.

If you, however, aren’t interested in this super high-end configuration, you’ll want to scope out some of the lingering deals on some of the more accessible models below as well as our feature piece on what to expect with Apple’s next Pro laptop

M3 Pro Max MacBook Pro features:

The 16-inch MacBook Pro blasts forward with M3 Pro and M3 Max, radically advanced chips that bring massive performance and capabilities for the most extreme workflows. With industry-leading battery life—up to 22 hours—and a beautiful Liquid Retina XDR display, it’s a pro laptop without equal.
