Amazon is now offering the unlocked Google Pixel 9 in the Obsidian black colorway down at $747.49 shipped. Regularly $799 shipped, this is over $51 in savings and the lowest price we can find on the latest 9 series Pixel handset. This is, in fact, the most affordable of the new models Google first debuted this past August within $10 of the lowest price we have tracked post-release.
There were some notable pre-order offers that had some Amazon gift cards tacked on, but when it comes to straight up cash discounts we have never seen this model go for less than $737, which was a very brief offer that lasted a matter of hours back on October 6.
Running on the Google Tensor G4, the new Google Pixel 9 is centered a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 1080 x 2424 resolution (60 to 120Hz). You’re looking at an internal 4,700mAh battery that can run for as many as 24 hours at a time, and up to 100 with Extreme Battery Save mode engaged, alongside wireless charging action, 12 GB of RAM, and notable camera specs – “Advanced dual rear camera system: 50 MP wide, 48 MP ultrawide with Macro Focus, Super Res Zoom up to 8x and optical quality at 0.5x, 1x, 2x” alongside the 10.5 MP Dual PD selfie camera with autofocus.
And don’t forget about Gemini – “your built-in AI assistant; instead of typing, use Gemini Live; it follows along even if you change the topic or switch the question; and Pixel Screenshots helps you save things you’ll want to remember later.”
