We featured a notable deal on the series 1 model already this morning, but we are touching down once again to highlight the new black Apple Watch Ultra 2 on the new black Trail Loop down at $721.89 shipped. This is the all-new configuration that first landed in September alongside iPhone 16 sitting at the very best price we have tracked to date. Regularly $799, we first saw it fall to $735 before a short-lived stint at $730 and now it is even lower to deliver the best price we have seen since release in brand new condition. 

You will find this very same configuration on sale for $714.99 as part of Best Buy’s open-box program in “excellent” condition. It ships with a same 1-year warranty from Apple you’ll receive from Amazon and for a lower price. While we haven’t seen this particular setup with the black Trail Loop for less in open-box condition, the Dark Green Alpine Loop option has dropped to under $700. Whether or not the $9 in savings here over the Amazon listing is worth it or not, that’s up to you, but a deal is a deal. 

Outside of perhaps the announcement that Apple has finally done away with the 8GB tier on its Mac lineup, for me the black Apple Watch Ultra 2 is, at least, among the more exciting releases of the year from Cupertino. It might not be the series 3 some of us were hoping for, but the Ultra 2 remains the post powerful smartwatch in the business in my opinion and is the most attractive model Apple offers – now you have a choice between the natural case or a satin black finish.
