Our Best of Black Friday posts continue today with the prime time Apple gear. Just about all of the latest Apple gear will be on sale for Black Friday this year, in fact much of it already is. But we are touching down this afternoon to take stock of the best prices live right now, the deals we already know are about to go live starting next week, and where we expect prices to land. We are already seeing deals on AirPods 4 as well as AirPods Pro 2 at within $1 of the best price ever, but this post is going to focus in on the big-ticket Apple Black Friday deals – M4 MacBook Pro, M4 Mac mini, M4 iMac, Apple Watch Series 10, Apple Watch Ultra 2, and the iPad lineup. Scope it all out down below.
Apple Watch Series 10
Apple Watch Series 10 is definitely going to be big hitter in the Apple Black Friday deal category this year, and especially the new Jet Black variant. It just debuted this past September and deals have not dropped any lower than around $33 or so off the MSRPs as of yet.
Amazon’s listings of both the 42mm and 46mm models have led the charge in terms of price drops thus far since release, having offered up prices as low as $366 and $399, respectively, in the two sizes, but we already know it’s going to get better than that, and well before Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.
Walmart’s Black Friday sale is a multi-tiered event and the first major price drops are scheduled to go live on starting on Monday, November 11, 2024. One of the most notable deals we already know about (which is just about all of them), is that it will be offering the 42mm Jet Black Apple Watch Series 10 down at $349 shipped, or $50 off the regular $399 price tag – that will be the lowest price we have ever tracked, providing Amazon doesn’t get aggressive before hand.
Upcoming Walmart Apple Watch Series 10 deals:
- Apple Watch Series 10 42mm Jet Black $349 (Reg. $399)
- Apple Watch Series 10 42mm Rose Gold $349 (Reg. $399)
We very much expect to see all major retailer hit this price at some point this month, alongside the larger 46mm dropping from the regular $429 down to $379 shipped, but as of right now Walmart is the only one to show its hand thus far.
Apple Watch Ultra 2
And let’s not forget about Apple’s flagship wearable, the Ultra 2. This year Apple updated the lineup with a new satin black titanium treatment, which in turn has actually brought pricing up on the Natural Titanium treatment since the darker model debuted.
We are yet to see any specific Apple Watch Ultra 2 Black Friday pricing advertised, outside of a quick mention in Best Buy’s upcoming weekly Friday Doorbuster offers, albeit with no mention of the actual price.
We have seen the black model drop as low as $732 at Amazon and the natural variant has not dropped below $680 since the black model debuted. We are expecting at least a $100 price drop on the black variant down to $699, but we are really hoping to see the natural down closer to $659 come Thanksgiving this year.
Here’s where pricing is at right now for reference:
- Black Apple Watch Ultra 2 $735 (Reg. $799)
- Natural Apple Watch Ultra 2 $730 (Reg. $799)
iPad Black Friday deals
Apple has quite a large iPad lineup – iPad 10, iPad mini 7, M2 iPad Air, and the M4 iPad Pro. We very much expect all of them to be on sale for Black Friday and likely well ahead of that. In fact, they are all on sale right now to some degree or other.
The iPad 10the Generation – the most entry-level of them all – is readily available at a discounted $299 these days, and it would not be surprising to see it drop an additional $20, $40, or $50 for Black Friday this year.
The iPad mini 7 is the latest release in the lineup and is already seeing $100 price drops on select colors and configurations. Before these deals went live, we would have guessed they would drop at least $99 for Black Friday, which might indeed still be the case (just with more complete configuration options), but at this rate we might even see prices drop as low as $379 for the entry-level.
Here’s a look at the lowest prices we have tracked to date for reference (some of which are still live right now):
- iPad mini A17 Pro 128GB $400 (Reg. $499)
- iPad mini A17 Pro 256GB $500 (Reg. $599)
- iPad mini A17 Pro 512GB $700 (Reg. $799)
Next we have the M2 iPad Air. Deals on the Air haven’t been quite as deep and frequent as we have seen on the M4 iPad Pro since release in May, but we are currently seeing $100 price drops across various configuration and are expecting to see much of the same come Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Apple’s mid-ranger M2 tablet saw some bonus $50 on-page coupons at Amazon during the Prime Day events, and we are expecting to see just about all configurations drop $150 from the MSRPs this year for Black Friday – we recently saw just one of the colors/configs drop this low and every single option is at least $100 off right now at the time of writing anyway. Here’s how pricing shakes out across the lineup right now:
Apple iPad Air M2 11-inch:
- Apple iPad Air 11-inch M2 128GB $499 (Reg. $599)
- Cell model from $649 (Reg. $749)
- Apple iPad Air 11-inch M2 256GB $599 (Reg. $699)
- Cell model from $749 (Reg. $849)
- Apple iPad Air 11-inch M2 512GB from $799 (Reg. $899)
- Apple iPad Air 11-inch M2 1TB $999 (Reg. $1,099)
- Cell model from $1,149 (Reg. $1,249)
Apple iPad Air M2 13-inch:
- Apple iPad Air 13-inch M2 128GB $699 (Reg. $799)
- Cell model from $849 (Reg. $949)
- Apple iPad Air 13-inch M2 256GB $799 (Reg. $899)
- Cell model from $949 (Reg. $1,049)
- Apple iPad Air 13-inch M2 512GB $949 (Reg. $1,099)
- Cell model from $1,099 (Reg. $1,249)
- Apple iPad Air 13-inch M2 1TB $1,194 (Reg. $1,299) | New low
- Cell model from $1,299 (Reg. $1,449) | New low
And lastly when it comes to the current iPad lineup, we have the M4 iPad Pro. Deals have been all over the place on the M4 iPad Pro, especially at Amazon – just about every configuration has dropped in price significantly at some point or other with the top end models dropping as low as $200 and the entry configs seeing notable $100 price drops. It’s hard to put a guess on the lineup for that reason – they will at least be $100 off across the board, but we are expecting something closer to $150 off on the more affordable models and perhaps as much as $250 off on the higher storage capacity variants.
Here’s a look at some of the latest and now live deal prices as of right now for reference:
Note: Several models are out of stock at Amazon as of right now, but we bet they will all be back in full force well ahead of Black Friday.
M4 iPad Pro 11-inch:
- Apple M4 iPad Pro 11-inch 256GB $899 (Reg. $999)
- Apple M4 iPad Pro 11-inch 512GB $1,124 (Reg. $1,199)
- Apple M4 iPad Pro 11-inch 1TB $1,599
- Apple M4 iPad Pro 11-inch 2TB $1,799 (Reg. $1,999)
M4 iPad Pro 13-inch:
- Apple M4 iPad Pro 13-inch 256GB $1,246 (Reg. $1,299)
- Apple M4 iPad Pro 13-inch 512GB $1,430 (Reg. $1,499)
- Apple M4 iPad Pro 13-inch 1TB $1,769 (Reg. $1,899)
- Apple M4 iPad Pro 13-inch 2TB $2,099 (Reg. $2,299)
Black Friday Mac deals
This year we have new M4 MacBook Pro models, new M4 iMacs, and the new M4 Mac mini, all of which are already seeing price drops between $50 and $120 off as of right now:
Current M4 Mac mini deals:
- M4 Mac mini 10-core 16GB RAM/256GB SSD $549 (Reg. $599)
- M4 Mac mini 10-core 16GB RAM/512GB SSD $749 (Reg. $799)
Current M4 MacBook Pro deals:
- 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro 16GB/512GB $1,550 (Reg. $1,599)
- 14-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro 24GB/512GB $2,299 (Reg. $2,399)
- 16-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro 24GB/512GB $2,399 (Reg. $2,499)
- 14-inch M4 Max MacBook Pro 36GB/1TB $3,130 (Reg. $3,199)
Current M4 iMac deals:
- M4 iMac 8-core 16GB RAM/256GB SSD $1,214 (Reg. $1,299)
- M4 iMac 10-core 16GB RAM/256GB SSD $1,399 (Reg. $1,499)
- M4 iMac 10-core 16GB RAM/512GB SSD $1,579 (Reg. $1,699)
Considering these are brand new releases that literally just started shipping today, we can safely put these in the wild card category – just about anything or entirely nothing could happen come Black Friday. However, considering we are already seeing price drops like those above right now, we at least expect to see $100 deals to make their way across the entire lineup of configurations on all three machines (the new M4 Mac mini is perhaps the least likely to see a full $100 price drop though), and to see the M4 iMac deals at Amazon get particularly aggressive, especially on the higher-end models.
M3 MacBook Air
Both the previous-generation M2 MacBook Air and the latest M3 MacBook Air just got the 16GB of RAM bump courtesy of Apple (finally!), That means that the entry-level configurations feature the double ramp jump without a jump in price and we are totally here for it almost as much as we are for the particularly aggressive price drops we expect see. We are already tracking as much as $310 in savings on the original prices they fetched before the October RAM upgrade (roughly $110 under the new MSRPs) and we expect the deal train to continue for Black Friday. We are expecting to see $150 price drops on the newly upgraded M3 MacBook Air, but at the very least $120 price drops across the entire lineup of configurations, including both the 13-inch and 15-inch models, as well as the 24GB upgraded configs as well.
Here’s where deal pricing lands as of right now:
- 13-inch M3 MacBook Air 16GB/256GB $1,049 (Orig. $1,299, Reg. $1,099)
- 13-inch M3 MacBook Air 24GB/512GB $1,449 (Orig. $1,699, Reg. $1,499)
- 15-inch M3 MacBook Air 16GB/256GB $1,249 (Orig. $1,499, Reg. $1,299)
- 15-inch M3 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB $1,389 (Orig. $1,699, Reg. $1,499)
