The M3 MacBook Air deals have been flying ever since Apple upgraded the lineup with elevated RAM configurations starting at 16GB, but Amazon just took things up a notch. Several of the configurations have now dropped in price again to deliver the lowest prices we have tracked to date. First up, you’ll find the base model 13-inch M3 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and the 256GB internal SSD marked down to $849 shipped in all four colorways. At $50 under the previous low, this is the best price ever on a 16GB 13-inch MacBook Air.
As we have already detailed extensively, the 8GB MacBook Air is no more. So you’re looking at the new base model and most affordable configuration in the lineup. While this model now fetches the same regular price as the previous 8GB variant ($1,099), you’re looking at a configuration that sold for $1,299 from Apple at the beginning of October this year.
Today’s deal is $250 under the new current MSRP and $450 below the sticker price on this machine before Apple decided to up the RAM.
Needless to say, this is a seriously notable price drop – this would have been a notable deal on an 8GB M3 MacBook Air a couple months ago. While there is always a chance we see things dip even lower for Black Friday over the coming 10 days, it’s very hard to image things getting any better than the up to $256 in savings we are now tracking across the lineup – we were only hoping to see $250 price drops on the recently upgraded M3 MacBook Air for this year’s Black Friday festivities.
