While we await the Black Friday deal on Apple Pencil Pro with Find My for folks with the latest-generation iPads, Amazon and Target are now offering Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) down at $79.99 shipped for Black Friday Week. Whereas the Apple Pencil Pro is really only for M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air users, the 2nd Gen is geared towards a much broader collection of iPad releases – iPad mini (6th generation), iPad Air (4th or 5th generation), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th generation), iPad Pro 11-inch (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th generation).

Regularly $129, you can now save nearly 40% off the sticker price on the 2nd Gen model. This deal lands at about $11 above the lowest price we have ever tracked on Amazon and within $1 of the best we have seen since the July Prime event.

The Apple Pencil lineup is a somewhat confusing one now with four models all compatible with different iPads still being sold on Apple’s storefront. But you are safe scooping up a 2nd Gen model if you have any of the iPads listed above.

We have attempted to simplify the lineup right here plus you’ll find Apple’s compatibility list here. And just below, you’ll find discounted pricing across the Apple Pencil lineup for whatever Apple tablet you might own:

Apple Pencil 2nd Gen features:

With pixel-perfect precision, tilt and pressure sensitivity, and imperceptible lag, Apple Pencil (2nd generation) makes painting, sketching, doodling, and note-taking better than ever. Attaches magnetically for wireless pairing and charging. Featuring a flat edge that attaches magnetically, Apple Pencil (2nd generation) allows you to change tools with just a tap from your finger. Draw, sketch, color, take notes, and mark up documents. Apple Pencil does it all with pixel-perfect precision, tilt and pressure sensitivity, and imperceptible lag. Apple Pencil attaches, charges, and pairs magnetically.
