Coming with a more compact design than we’re used to seeing with electric smokers, this model from EAST OAK utilizes 800W of power alongside wood chips as a fuel source to provide the smoky flavor at reduced emissions lower than that of charcoal. It boasts 725 square-feet of cooking space, with a glass sectioned door and a meat probe so you can not only monitor how things are looking, but get precision internal temperatures too. There’s a digital control panel for real-time readouts, along with a remote for controlling its settings when not directly near it. The side-loading wood chip loader holds enough fuel to cook for two to three hours before needing to be refilled and maintains a temperature ranging from 100 degrees to 275 degrees for low and slow cooks that yield tender results.
You’ll find a smaller and cheaper option in the EAST OAK 30-inch Black model from the same line as the above model, currently available for $190, down from $230.
