As part of today’s Deals of the Day, Best Buy is looking to clear out some of its M3 Pro MacBook Pro stock with the 14-inch base model in Space Black at $1,599 shipped and the silver model down at $1,499. While Best Buy has this one listed with a regular $1,899 regular price these days, this model debuted last year with a $1,999 list price and is now available with up to $500 in savings. We did see some notable clearance deals on this configuration and the M3 Pro lineup in general ahead of the launch of the new M4 models, but this one is now completely out of stock at Amazon. You’ll want to head below for as much as $700 off the original price on M3 models and more.

Apple has since taken things up a notch with the base RAM offerings across its Mac lineup, being rid of the 8GB tiers entirely in favor of 16GB setups. That also ushered in a jump in RAM on the base-tier Pro chip models as well – the configuration we are featuring here today features 18GB of RAM as opposed to the 24GB of RAM we see on the comparable M4 Pro variant.
That said, 18GB of RAM is more than plenty for some folks and the M4 Pro MacBook Pro with the same 512GB of storage carries a $1,999 list price – it is currently on sale for $1,799 shipped at Amazon right now though.
While the M3 Pro model we are featuring here today is very much not the latest and greatest, it remains a capable machine ready for Apple Intelligence with a solid 18GB/512GB setup. It will also be eligible for more than its fair share of macOS upgrades down the line and comes in at $200 under the current sale price on the comparable M4 Pro model – it also within $50 of the sale price you’ll find on the base model M4 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM.
