Apple’s latest M2 iPad Air delivers some of the better value in the lineup if you ask me – it’s not nearly as pricey as the M4 iPad Pro but not a whole lot more expensive than the far less powerful iPad mini 7. You can land the entry-level 11-inch and 13-inch 128GB models at $100 off right now, or $499 and $699, respectively. But we are also now tracking $149 price drops across various colors on the 128GB 13-inch Wi-Fi + Cell models for folks looking for an always connected solution. All but the Starlight variant are now down at $799.97 shipped, which is $149 off the regular $949 price tag to deliver the lowest price we can find.
Listings have mostly popped back up to full price across the lineup at Best Buy, save for some Plus and Total member deals that aren’t quite as good as the Amazon offers featured above. If you didn’t get a chance to jump on the Black Friday and holiday offers for the M2 iPad Air lineup, Amazon is giving folks another shot here today to ready their 2025 setup with a deal.
As I touched on above, the M2 iPad Air sits in that sweet spot for many folks in the current-generation lineup, delivering a rock solid Apple tablet experience that’s nowhere near the entry-level end of the lineup with prices well below the M4 iPad Pro options. Starting at $499 it’s really not much more than the iPad mini that runs on a previous-generation iPhone chip and, with the Wi-Fi + Cell offers here, can make for a more than powerful mobile work and play station – you might argue the 128GB Cell model is the most affordable portable Apple computing experience that can actually handle a complete workload while still leveraging the latest in Apple Intelligence, and more.
