Just after unveiling its new hybrid lamp projector, another LG dual-function home lighting solution is ready to make an appearance ion Las Vegas this year. As part of its CES 2025 offering, LG is set to showcase its “innovative new indoor gardening appliance” – the seemingly, as of right now, nameless lamp features a floor-standing form-factor with the brand’s next-generation indoor plant cultivation and display setup. Scope it out below.
New LG plant lamp and grow table
The LG plant lamp (we are calling it the LG plant lamp for now) will be showcased alongside “a new indoor gardening appliance featuring a nature-inspired side table design at CES 2025.” We don’t have many details on the side table unit as of yet outside of LG saying its a compact, multifunctional model” that “provides an easy, enjoyable home gardening experience [that] demonstrates LG’s continuing commitment to providing compelling choices for various tastes and lifestyles.” You can see an image of the plant table below though.
Our new indoor gardening appliances present a fresh way for customers to create their own personal green spaces, have fun growing their own plants, and infuse their homes with an inspired touch of modern style,
The LG plant lamp is coming in the form of what it calls an “apartment-friendly footprint” that “offers more growing space compared to the company’s previous indoor gardening appliances.”
It combines a typical floor lamp experience with height-adjustable LED growing lights and an “adaptable growing space” to support a wider array of different leafy greens, herbs, flowers and fruits. There is a 1.5-gallon-capacity water tank hidden within to provide support for continuous growing cycles and “more hydration between refills.”
The unit can grow up to 10 plants at a time via four-seed-kit capacity – it will automatically dispense the correct amount of hydration when needed for up to a week on its own. There are also further customization and managerial options available within the LG ThinQ app (“cultivation schedules, adjust lighting settings and monitor plant growth from any location”).
As far as the lamp part of the equation is concerned, there are “two types of functional and aesthetically-pleasing” lighting: downward-facing lights with five intensity levels for the plant growth during the daytime as well as upward-facing mood lighting “to create a cozy, calming ambiance in the evening.”
As per usual with these CES reveals, there are no pricing for release details available as of yet.
