The Super Bowl is right around the corner now, and if you’re looking for a home entertainment center upgrade beforehand, we have spotted some solid deals on TCL’s 2024 mini-LED lineup. First up, Amazon has brought back its all-time low on the 85-inch TCL Class QM8-Series 4K UHD HDR mini-LED Google Smart TV at $1,998 shipped. This model debuted last spring at $3,000 and now more typically carries a regular price at $2,500 via retailers like Best Buy where it is currently on sale for $2,000.
Today’s is slightly over $2,000 under the price it released at last year and more than $500 under the current going rate. This is matching the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon, including during the 2024 Black Friday deal season.
You’re looking at a mini-LED display with 4K resolutions and a native 120Hz refresh rate (144Hz variable refresh rate for “action-packed movies, fast-paced video games, and live sports”). The onboard Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice command action also joins support for HomeKit gear and Apple’s AirPlay 2 casting as well as a pair of HDMI 2.1 inputs, FreeSync Premium Pro (AMD Adaptive Sync), Dolby Vision, and HDR 10+.
