Over at Amazon, you’ll find Crucial’s 1TB X9 Pro rugged portable SSD down at $69.99 shipped right now. That’s straight up a $42 discount on a drive that has fetched as much as $112 in recent months. We saw this unit drop to the $60 mark in 2023 before the industry-wide price hike hit SSDs, but this is the lowest price we have tracked for it in over a year since then. The 2TB variant of this drive is also down at $120, which happens to be $9 below our previous mention from November last year. The Crucial X9 Pro, while not the latest release, remains a solid option to consider if you are in the market to buy an external SSD.
