The JBL Authentics Home Speaker lineup is one of the more compelling of its type out there, especially for those firmly planted in the Google and Amazon Alexa ecosystem. It also happens to be one of the more attractive with hits of metal and fabric-wrapped surfaces, but JBL has decided to give the lineup a makeover by way of a new white treatment that is debuting as part of the CES 2025 festivities.
New white/brass JBL Authentics Home Speaker lands at CES 2025
Just as a quick refresher on what the JBL Authentics Home Speaker is all about. You’re looking at a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth smart speaker with 360-immersive audio with the ability to stream audio via AirPlay, Alexa Multi-Room Music (MRM), Spotify Connect, and Chromecast.
The build consists of a cast-aluminum accents, a leather-like enclosure, and the fabric-like Quadrex grille.
It also has some smart home and voice command prowess, featuring “industry-first integration built with Amazon and Google” – it “provides listeners simultaneous access to voice assistants on JBL Authentics speakers, allowing users to register both assistants and communicate with Google Assistant or Alexa at the same time via the speaker.”
Once enabled via the JBL app, you can communicate with either voice assistant, be it for playing music, controlling smart home devices in your space, setting timers, and just about everything else Google Assistant and Alexa bring to the table.
Taking inspiration from the legendary JBL L100 speaker from the 70s, the JBL Authentics range draws on JBL’s rich history with a modern twist. With a premium aluminium frame, custom synthetic leather-wrapped enclosure and a reimagined Quadrex grille, the JBL Authentics range is designed to make a statement. Now available in White, JBL Authentics will fit any home aesthetic while bringing the powerful JBL sound listeners crave.
All of that is to say two things really – this is a super sweet-looking speaker and the new model is identical outside of the new white aesthetics.

The new white model JBL Authentics 300 will be available this March at $349.95, the same price as the standard black model.
