While we are still tracking some solid price drops on the new M4/Pro MacBook Pro models below, B&H has a compelling offer on the M3 Pro machine right now. You can now score the 14-inch Apple M3 Pro MacBook Pro with 36GB of RAM and a 1TB internal SSD down at $1,999 shipped. This is as much as $1,000 off the price this configuration would have fetched before the M4 Pro arrived.

This setup featured above would have gone for closer to $3,000 before it was replaced by the M4 Pro model. The comparable model with the 36GB of RAM and half the storage at 512GB goes for $2,799 shipped at Best Buy right now. Even if you go by the $2,799 B&H has been selling the 1TB for, you’re still saving $800, but it would have sold for even more than that directly from Apple.

Needless to say this a serious spend for the previous-generation model. But having said that, we are also talking about massive price drop and one of the better deals we have seen on a relatively new MacBook Pro with these sorts of specs.

Just for comparison’s sake, configuring an M4 Pro model at Apple right now to specs as close as possible to the M3 Pro feature above would run you $3,199 shipped. Obviously you’re getting the newer chip with that option, so it’s not a direct comparison, but it does put things into perspective a bit more.

For those that would rather just go with one of the new machines, scope out the deals we are still tracking below instead:

Apple M3 Pro MacBook Pro features:

The 16-inch MacBook Pro blasts forward with M3 Pro and M3 Max, radically advanced chips that bring massive performance and capabilities for the most extreme workflows. With industry-leading battery life—up to 22 hours—and a beautiful Liquid Retina XDR display, it’s a pro laptop without equal. Now in a new color: Space Black.
