Amazon is now offering the current-generation iPad 10th Generation starting from $279 shipped. After officially falling from its original $429 list in mid 2024, it now carries a sticker price at $349. We have seen plenty of deals on these casual beginner iPads since then, but anytime you can score a current-generation Apple tablet in the sub $300 range it is worth a mention if you ask me.
There were some short-lived offers for the iPad 10 in the $250 range over the holidays last year, but they came and went quite quickly. Folks looking to land a super casual Apple tablet that can run the latest OS, be it for the kids, as a family couch browser, something to travel with, and so on, the $279 on tap here today is worth a look.
There’s nothing particularly remarkable about this model outside of that – it’s just an, all things considered, super affordable iPad still sold at the Apple Store now down at $279. That said, it can easily support your browsing, social media, and YouTube habits, while also making for a notable way to jump on some video calls with friends and family.
The iPad 11 is rumored to be on the way, but again, you’re not likely to see a current generation iPad, especially a brand new one, drop anywhere near the $279 we have right now.
Rumor has the new 11th Generation will support Apple Intelligence by way of the A17 Pro chip, at least Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, and release alongside a new Magic Keyboard attachment. Everything else you need to know awaits right here.
