Just after reports surfaced confirming OnePlus will not be releasing a new Open 2 this year after all, Amazon is now offering a deep price drop on the flagship foldable from the brand. You’ll find the OnePlus Open in Voyager Black and Emerald Dusk at $1,299 shipped, down from the regular $1,699 list price you’ll pay directly from OnePlus right now. 

Today’s deal is a straight up $400 price drop on the unlocked OnePlus Open, landing on par with our previous mention for the best price of the year. While we did see a few quick drops to $1,199 for Black Friday last year, alongside some bundle offers that reached deeper into your pocket at checkout, today’s deal is otherwise the lowest we have seen. 

While just up until this week it seemed as though there was a good chance we would be seeing a next-generation OnePlus Open foldable device hit the market in 2025, the brand has now confirmed otherwise. OnePlus has “made the decision not to release a foldable this year” – all of the details you need are waiting right here. 

That means the unlocked Open we are featuring here today will remain the brand’s latest and greatest right through until 2026, and it’s now $400 off.
