Google’s mid-tier Pixel 8a joins the Presidents’ Day deals at $100 off, models now starting from $399

The Google Pixel deals are flying right now with hundreds in savings on both the latest series 9 models and previous-generation devices. But we wanted to make sure the more affordable, latest-generation Pixel 8a didn’t get lost in the shuffle, as it is now seeing straight up $100 price drops courtesy of Amazon and elsewhere. The 128GB in all four colorways is down to $399 shipped and the 256GB is going for $459 shipped. 

As of right now, the Pixel 8a remains the brand’s latest mid-tier offering, despite the new flagship Series 9 devices landing last year. It is deigned to provide a trimmed down Pixel experience without getting anywhere near as pricey as the standard and pro-grade Google handsets – with today’s deal it is still $100 less than the massively discounted Pixel 7 Pro from a few years ago. 

The discounts we are tracking today are on par with the lowest we have tracked outside of a limited offer that had the Pixel 8a starting at $379 for the fall Prime day festivities. 

While it might not be a flagship device, it is still a compelling option for folks that don’t need all of the bells and whistles, and at a much lower price. Everything is centered around a 6.1-inch Actua display fronted with a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and protected from spills, dust, and more with an IP67 rating. In standard mode the battery can last for up to 24 hours (up to 72 hours in Extreme Battery Saver mode) and you’ll still land some Google AI tech here:
