Bose’s regularly $899 AirPlay 2 Smart Ultra Soundbar is now seeing a deep $300 price drop (Refurb with full warranty)

We have scoped out some particularly notable refurbished deals courtesy of the world-class Bose renewal program as of late, and next up is its flagship Smart Ultra Soundbar. Regularly $899 and currently fetching as much over at Amazon, the official Bose site is now offering refurbished units with the same warranty as a new model down at $599 shipped – that’s a straight up $300 in savings and one of the lowest prices we have tracked all-time. 

This unit dropped down to $749 and $699 during Black Friday and the holidays last year, alongside a deal at $649 in new condition that only lasted for a couple hours at Amazon, but nothing quite as low as the refurbished offer we have on tap here today. 

For those unfamiliar, the Bose refurb program is a seriously great one, delivering a complete warranty alongside the discounted price. Here are the details you need to know:

A Certified Refurbished product is one that’s been returned to Bose, for any reason. It’s then thoroughly inspected, tested, and serviced to meet strict Bose sound quality standards — the same as a new product. Appearance is closely examined; products occasionally have minor, nearly imperceptible blemishes. All Refurbished products have the same warranty as new products, and are available only from Bose. Quantities are limited.

It’s, at least to some degree, all in the name here. You’re looking at the flagship smart sound bar from the brand, complete with Bose’s A.I. Dialogue Mode that “balances voice and surround sound for ultra-crisp vocal clarity” as well as Alexa and Google voice control support, Apple’s AirPlay 2 casting, and Spotify Connect connectivity for listening to some tunes in between movies. 

Audio is pushed through the unit by way of six transducers and two custom-engineered upward firing speakers with support for Dolby Atmos action and Bose TrueSpace technology that “separates sounds and places them in different parts of a room for an immersive spatial audio experience.”

All of that is to say this is one seriously great sound bar at a particularly notable price tag. It’s hard to deny the quality on something like the Sonos Arc lineup (also on sale), but for my money, Bose is the way to go, especially if you’re going to use it to crank up some tunes before the film starts.
