Best Buy’s Top Deals page has now transitioned over to a new Tech that loves to travel sale event featuring some notable discounts on Apple gear and Beats Studio Pro headphones. One of the highlights from the sale is the $279 offer on the latest Apple iPad 10th Gen alongside a solid $49 price drop on the latest AirPods Max with USB-C and a $150 discount on the Beats Studio Pro – these deals are also matched at Amazon.

While the Apple iPad 10 certainly isn’t the newest or the most powerful in the lineup right now by any stretch, it can make for a notable casual Apple computing experience without breaking the bank. It saw an oficial price drop from $449 down to $349 last May when the new iPad Pro and iPad Air debuted, but it is now available down at $279 shipped via Amazon and Best Buy – that’s $70 off the current regular price tag and $170 off its original price.

A new iPad 11 is rumored to be in the pipeline for a 2025 release at this point, but there’s no telling where this new machine might land in terms of price, and it will almost certainly not drop down as low as the 10 is here today across 2025. It will likely support the Apple Intelligence features you won’t get on the 10th Gen, but again, if you’re just looking for a basic browsing and video chatting machine, something to scope out social media, or these sorts of things, a current-gen iPad in brand-new condition for $279 is a notable option.

Apple iPad 10th Gen features:

Colorfully reimagined and more versatile than ever, iPad is great for the things you do every day. With an all-screen design, 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, powerful A14 Bionic chip, superfast Wi-Fi, and four gorgeous colors, iPad delivers a powerful way to create, stay connected, and get things done. iPadOS makes iPad more productive, intuitive, and versatile. With iPadOS, run multiple apps at once, use Apple Pencil to write in any text field with Scribble, and edit and share photos. iPad comes with essential apps like Safari, Messages, and Keynote, with over a million more apps available on the App Store.
