While we are still awaiting the first cash deal on the lauded new Powerbeats Pro 2 – here’s our hands-on review, Amazon has just knocked $50 off the revamped Beats Pill portable Bluetooth speaker. You’ll now find the standard Matte Black, Statement Red, and Champagne Gold colors all marked down to $99.95 shipped. Regularly $150, this is $50 off the going rate and the lowest price we can find. 

There was a very brief dip down to $98 on the red model last fall, but today’s deals are otherwise on par with all of the discounts we have tracked on the latest speaker from the Apple brand since release last summer, and that includes the Black Friday and holiday offers in late 2024. 

After getting a chance to test out the latest Beats Pill back in June when it launched, our overall takeaway was that it’s back and better than ever. 

We are once again getting the familiar namesake form-factor joined by Beats’ penchant for matte black and bold, vibrant red paint jobs, alongside an IP67-rated design for water and dust resistance. 

Battery life tops out at roughly 24 hours – a 10-minute Fast Fuel power-up nets you an additional 2 hours of listening time – with USB-C charging and the ability to leech some of its battery power for your iPhone, or something along those lines. 

You will find proprietary Beats silicon under the hood for cross-compatibility on iPhone and Android, but Apple users will see some notable bonus features here too. Those include built-in Find My tracking as well as iPhone/Apple Watch pairing – you can automatically hand off audio to your wearable when iPhone is out of range – as well as the ability to instantly pair it with every piece of gear on your iCloud account.
