Samsung brought its ultra-budget-friendly Galaxy A16 smartphone stateside early last month at $199 alongside the Fit3 fitness tracker wearable in early January. At the time you could bundle the two together to score the wearable at 50% off, but Amazon is stepping in today with the first straight up discount on the phone at $174.99 shipped. It’s clearly no flagship Galaxy S25, S25+, or Galaxy S25 Ultra, but if you’re looking for a super casual device, the price is certainly right. 

Today’s deal knocks nearly 15% off the Light Gray and Blue Black models to deliver a new Amazon all-time low and the first cash deal we have tracked since it came to the US. 

Be it as a second handset in your arsenal, or perhaps something for the kids or grandparents, the A16 is Samsung’s latest ultra-affordable Galaxy device that has more than just a super low price going for it.

The A16 also boasts a 50MP rear camera alongside the 5MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensors, joined by a 13MP selfie camera. The IP54 rating that safeguards it from the odd splash of water or light rain is also a nice touch on a sub $200 handset.
