Here’s the new LEGO sets releasing in April: Lord of the Rings, Disney, Ideas, more + GWPs

While it hasn’t been as jam-packed as past months, LEGO has a solid selection of heavy-hitting building sets landing on shelves now that the clock has officially ticked over to April. It’s a nice little mix of reality and fantasy this month, and we’re dropping our rundown so you can shop to your heart’s content all in one place – plus the GWP options too! These sets are releasing across six different days – three early days for Insiders and three later dates for the general public. Head below for a look at all the new LEGO sets that are available this April 2025.

The new LEGO sets that are hitting the market in April are following a slightly odd schedule, as they are staggered from April 1 to 10, depending on whether you are a LEGO Insider or not. Of course, the biggest buzz has been surrounding the 10354 Icons The Lord of the Rings: The Shire set, as it’s been a long time coming that we are taken back to Middle Earth in a brick-built format – plus, there’s the 40761 The Lord of the Rings: Sméagol & Déagol GWP you’ll be getting for a short period too. As someone who grew up on the Mississippi River, I also have a soft spot for the 21356 Ideas River Steamboat set, with its detailed construction that opens the floodgates on plenty of nostalgia. And like The Shire set, this one also scores you the 5009157 Amelia Ticket Booth GWP too.
