While the deals on the new M4 MacBook Air lineup are flying this week – there are new all-time lows on every configuration at $150 off, price drops on the latest M4 MacBook Pro lineup have completely dried up over the last month. You will find some configs at well under the Apple list prices on Amazon right now, like the base model M4 $1,499 ($150 off) or the base model M4 Pro at $2,189 ($210 off), but those deals aren’t nearly as good as what we saw over the holidays last year and in the early part of 2025. That in mind, we did just spot a giant deal on an upgraded M3 Pro MacBook Pro via authorized Apple dealer B&H at $900 under its original list price for today only. Details below.
B&H is now offering the 14-inch M3 Pro MacBook Pro with 18GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD down at $1,499 shipped in Space Black. This config released in late 2023 (one generation back) at $2,399 – today’s deal is $900 less than that.
How does this compare to the latest M4 Pro lineup? Well firstly, Apple upped the RAM from 18GB to 24GB on the latest models while maintaining the $2,399 list price. But it’s still going to cost you $2,189 to land the closest comparable M4 Pro model right now – that’s $690 more than the M3 Pro we are featuring here today.
We certainly wouldn’t blame you for waiting on a better deal for the newer M4 Pro model, that’s for sure, but the chance of seeing the comparable machine anywhere near $1,499 anytime even mildly soon is basically impossible. The closest M4 Pro model has never sold for less than $2,099 – you would be lucky to get a 1TB M4 standard at $1,499.
Prefer to go brand-new and bring the spending down dramatically? Go for the all-time low pricing on the M4 MacBook Air lineup we are featuring right now with deals starting from $849 shipped.
