We are now tracking a deal at Amazon that drops Microsoft’s 2024 Surface Laptop 7 Copilot+ PC in black down to $824.45 shipped. This is the base model of this machine with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus chip that hit the scene carrying a $1,200 price tag. Today’s deal takes $375 off this laptop’s usual going rate, dropping it down to one of the lowest prices we have tracked for it to date. Only once before today have we seen this model go for less at Amazon, and it’s now within $25 of that price to mark a new best price to beat this year. The Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 currently on sale is powered by the 10-core Snapdragon X Plus chip, which launched alongside the Snapdragon X Elite last year. It delivers similar single-core performance to the 12-core version and includes the same 45 TOPS NPU, enabling smooth handling of Copilot+ and other AI-driven tasks. This model also comes with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, making it well-equipped for everyday use. Despite being the more affordable model from last year, it shares many traits with the higher-end Surface Laptop with X Elite, including a sleek, lightweight design, a 13.8-inch touchscreen, and Wi-Fi support.
