LAST DAY: Big-time $200+ price drop just hit the Starlink Mini Kit AC Dual Band Wi-Fi System at $300

We are tracking the lowest price we have seen to date on the SpaceX Starlink Mini Kit at $299.99 shipped via Best Buy. Originally $599 when it launched last year, Best Buy now has it listed with a regular price tag at $500 – today’s deal knocks $200 off that to deliver the lowest total we have tracked. 

We did spot the first chance to save on this model at the tail end of last year, but that deal wasn’t even close to as good as what we have here today. Since then there has been a few chances to save in the sub $400 range as well as a short-lived offer at Walmart and some less than desirable third-party sellers – you’ll find a couple of these deals live at Amazon and Walmart right now – but again, nothing as good as today.  

The offer we have here right now is the best we have tracked from a proper major retailer to date.

The short form version though on the Mini setup is that you’re looking at a portable satellite internet system that links up with SpaceX satellites in low earth orbit, providing direct internet access just about anywhere (with a clear view of the sky) from a unit you can fit inside a backpack.

The package on sale here today includes Starlink, a kickstand, pipe adapter, DC power cable, the power supply, and a Starlink plug. Musk might not be your favorite fella right now (or ever), but we are in the saving folks money business around here and the Starlink system is arguably quite impressive and useful for some.

You will have to subscribe to the Starlink Mini internet plans to put this to work, but you can “pause and un-pause service at any time. Billing is in one-month increments, allowing you to customize your service to your individual travel needs.”
