As part of its now live early Memorial Day sale, Amazon is offering Lexar’s 1TB new Play Blue microSD card down at $64.99 shipped. Lexar launched this new model in March to differentiate it from the older Play memory card, which was limited to speeds of 160MB/s. Initially priced at $90, this updated version is now available for $25 less – marking a new best price to beat. The 512GB variant of this microSD card is also at $32.99 Prime shipped, down from its usual price of $40. Head below for more details.
The Lexar 1TB Play Blue microSD card works with a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and handheld gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and ASUS ROG Ally. It offers read and write speeds of up to 160MB/s and 100MB/s, respectively. While it doesn’t match the performance of the brand’s newer Play PRO microSD or even the updated 205MB/s Play card, it’s still a reliable choice for storing videos, games, music, and more, especially given today’s discounted price.
