The Lexar NM790 is a high-performance PCIe NVMe Gen 4 SSD, offering read and write speeds of up to 7,400 MB/s and 6,500 MB/s. It’s available in capacities from 1TB to 8TB, and they all use the reliable Maxio MAP1602 controller. Each of these drives comes with a 5-year warranty and is rated for up to 1.5 million hours MTBF or 3,000TB written. The version on sale today does not include a pre-installed heatsink, but you can easily get one for around $7 if you’re using it with a PS5 or a PC motherboard that lacks its SSD heatsink.
