Update: The Midnight 16GB 13-inch M4 MacBook Air just dropped to $824.42 shipped at Amazon ($175 off)

To kick the month of June off in Apple deals, Amazon is bringing back the $849 deal price on the most affordable 13-inch M4 MacBook Air. Apple launched this one at $100 less than the M3 models a few months back, but the $999 list has now dropped back down to $849 in all four colors.

Regularly $999, the 16GB M4 MacBook Air with the 256GB SSD has now fallen to $849 shipped in Midnight, Silver, Sky Blue, and Starlight. This is a straight up $150 price drop and the lowest we can find online.

We did see select colors have a couple very short stints under the $849 we have here today, but those deals did not last very long. You had to be ready to pull the trigger early last month, and exactly at the right time of day – the Midnight, for example, dropped down to $836 and $825 a few times, but only for a few hours at a time.

Either way, $150 off a brand new entry M4 MacBook that just released back in March is solid deal. We might see some drops here and there for less on select colors of this configuration, but you can do a whole lot worse than landing the most affordable model in the lineup at $849 shipped.

All of that said, folks looking to land the 15-incher or one of the upgraded configs with more RAM and storage, will find some deals still floating around at better than $150 off right now – the 24GB 13-inch model is $198 off in select colors and the 24GB 15-inch is now up to $248 off:

Apple M4 MacBook Air features:

The 13-inch MacBook Air with the M4 chip lets you fly through work and play. With Apple Intelligence, a spacious Liquid Retina display, up to 18 hours of battery life, and a strikingly thin and light design, it’s built to last and can take on just about anything, anywhere.
