While there are a lot of purpose-built portable SSDs on the market, I personally prefer to buy an enclosure instead. This allows me to swap out the SSD whenever I like, and scoop up a larger capacity whenever a superb deal comes along. This enclosure is just 0.24 inches thick and sports a built-in USB-C cable. There’s even 100W passthrough charging support, which will certainly come in handy when you connect it to a MacBook, Chromebook, or PC laptop.
