Hisense’s latest 144Hz 85-inch frame-style smart TV is $2,000 less than Samsung’s, and it’s now up to $1,700 off

Alongside some discounts on the smaller models, folks looking to land a sizable frame-style TV can side step the Samsung tax in favor the new Amazon low we are now tracking on the 2025 model 85-inch Hisense Class QLED 4K S7N CanvasTV. This one debuted earlier this year with a $4,000 MSRP but you can now score one on Amazon at up to $1,700 less than that. Details below. 

This model still carries a $4,000 list price at retailers like Best Buy and elsewhere, although it debuted on Amazon at around $3,000 earlier this year before jumping to the full list price. It fell to $2,500 in mid May and now again to the lowest price we have tracked via Amazon to date at $2,299.99 shipped. 

That’s certainly still a sizable investment, but we are talking about a 2025 frame-style TV that comes in a whole lot less than the $4,300 Samsung charges for its 85-inch pro model. Just take note that you can score up to $200 off the 65-inch standard 2025 Samsung The Frame TV at $1,599.99 shipped right now but you won’t get the 144HZ refresh rate on that one. 

That said, if you’re looking to go big and framed, Hisense delivers some serious value while still delivering on that artistic, home decor-worthy picture frame vibe with a 144Hz refresh rate and a new anti-glare, hi-matte display. You’ll find the expected Art Mode for displaying imagery in-between shows and movies as well as AMD FreeSync Premium, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and Low Latency MEMC for gaming. If the 85-incher is just too big for you anyway, scope the smaller models starting from under $1,000 at Amazon.
