As part of the now live early Prime Day deals that just knocked AirPods Pro 2 down to the best price of the year at $160, Amazon is also now offering a super rare deal on the latest USB-C Apple Magic Mouse in black. Apple’s official mice don’t go on sale very often, and you can now score the regularly $99 black model down at $84.99 shipped to upgrade your setup.

The black model does carry a premium over the $99, compared to the regular $79 on the standard white, but they are seldom on sale and perhaps less so on the black variants (this includes the Magic Mouse and the keyboards).

Today’s early Prime Day deal knocks a straight up 14% off to deliver the best price of the year. Only once have we seen this Apple mouse sell for less in new condition, and that was down at $80 for Black Friday 2024 – this is, in fact, the only other time we have seen a notable deal via Amazon at all.

You’re looking at the latest model too, complete with all of the wonderful gesture control via the touch pad on the top surface and everything else you love about Apple’s mice, just with an updated charging port on the bottom in the form of a USB-C jack as opposed to the old Lightning port.

Apple Magic Mouse isn’t perfect, but for me it’s the only option – until the third-party makers can deliver on the gesture action the way Apple does while also landing with a more ergonomic solution, the Magic Mouse is simply the only option for me personally.

Apple Magic Mouse (USB-C) features:

Magic Mouse is wireless and rechargeable, with an optimized foot design that lets it glide smoothly across your desk. The Multi-Touch surface allows you to perform simple gestures such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents. The rechargeable battery will power your Magic Mouse for about a month or more between charges. It’s ready to go right out of the box and pairs automatically with your Mac, and it includes a woven USB-C Charge Cable that lets you pair and charge by connecting to a USB-C port on your Mac.
