We just spotted a deal at Newegg that drops SK hynix’s 2TB Platinum P41 M.2 NVMe SSD down to $114.99 shipped once you enter promo code EPEUA626 during checkout. This particular drive with a $157 price tag has recently been selling for around $143 on Amazon, where it’s currently listed for $130. Today’s deal at Newegg, however, knocks it further down with an additional $15 discount. That brings it down to one of the lowest prices we’ve seen so far, and the best deal we’ve tracked for this model in 2025. Head below for more details.
The Platinum P41 is one of the more popular SK hynix SSDs out there, offering read and write speeds of up to 7,000 MB/s and 6,500 MB/s, respectively – putting it on par with the top Gen4 SSDs on the market. It features SK hynix’s in-house Aries controller and TLD NAND flash, and it’s backed by a 5-year warranty with a rated endurance of up to 1,200TB written or 1.5 million hours MTBF. The Platinum P41 is also compatible with the PS5, though you’ll need a heatsink for optimal results. The model on sale today doesn’t include one, but you can find slim PS5-compatible heatsinks on Amazon for under $10.
If you’d rather get your hands on a heatsink SSD, Samsung’s 2TB 990 Pro is down at $150 right now. This one comes with a heatsink and is down from its usual price of $180.
