Alongside the return to Prime Day pricing on its Ultra Open buds we featured this morning, Amazon has also now brought back the big-time summer deal on the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar. This model carries a $999 list price these days and is now sitting down at $699 shipped in both the black and white colorways at Amazon and direct from Bose.
While the Ultra model did regularly sell for $899 for all of last year and most of this one, you’re still landing $200 off for the lowest price we can find.
This deal was ushered in over at Best Buy where Bose has taken over the Deals of the Day page through midnight PT – you’ll find additional deals on home theater gear and headphones, but the Ultra Open and Ultra Soundbar are the real winners here in terms of the actual deal price.
For those unfamiliar, the Bose Ultra Soundbar is the brand’s flagship standalone home theater experience, complete with Dolby Atmos and Bose TrueSpace technology, which “separates sounds and places them in different parts of a room for an immersive spatial audio experience.” You’ll also land the brand’s A.I. Dialogue Mode that is designed to do, well, exactly what it sounds like it does – “balances voice and surround sound for ultra-crisp vocal clarity, so you never miss what your favorite characters say again.”
In terms control and connectivity, Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant is built-in and at the ready while Bluetooth as well as the included optical audio and HDMI eARC cable link the system up to your home theater and smart devices.
With six transducers, including two custom-engineered upward firing dipole speakers, it will feel like your space is filled with sound from every direction, even overhead.
