As we detailed yesterday and previous to that when they all went live, Amazon now has the very best prices it has ever offered on Apple’s current-generation M4 MacBook Pro at $300 off – outside of limited in-store offers it is the lowest prices we have tracked to date. This includes the base model at $1,299, but Costco members can score this same deal right now with longer 2-year warranty. Details below.

Not to be confused with adding Apple Care+ to your device, all current-generation MacBooks sold directly from Amazon come with the standard 1-year Apple warranty, as expected. The particularly notable deal pricing on those works out as follows:

Scoring a stright up $300 price drop on the most affordable current-get M4 models is a seriously notable deal for sure.

But if you’re a Costco member already you might want to consider getting one from there instead. It too has this very same deal down at $1,299 shipped right now, but it happens to come with 2-year warranty coverage alongside the usual “free technical support” and 90-day return policy Costco typically offers.

Warranty & Services

  • 2nd Year Warranty
  • Free Technical Support – Step-By-Step Instructions, Troubleshooting & More
  • 90 Day Return Policy

While the 1-year warranty coming straight from Amazon is typically more than enough time to uncover any technical issues or flaws in the particular unit you received, the Costco offer does add some peace of mind to the investment here.

Either way, we are looking at some wonderful back to school MacBook deals right now and there’s no telling how long they might stick around for now.

M4 MacBook Pro features:

The 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 chip gives you spectacular performance in a powerhouse laptop built for Apple Intelligence. With up to 24 hours of battery life and a breathtaking Liquid Retina XDR display with up to 1600 nits peak brightness, it’s pro in every way.
