Costco has the most affordable M4 Mac mini down at $500 with an extended warranty today

But now we are zeroing-in on a notable price drop over at Costco on the most affordable model in the lineup down at $499.99 shipped. Details below. 

The base model 16GB/256GB M4 Mac mini carries a list price at $599 and is currently marked down at $539 via Amazon. Costco members, however, can land one down at $499.99 shipped today to deliver $99 in savings off the price of buying one at Apple, which lands on par with the deal we spotted for Prime Day this year. 

And just as a reminder for you Costco membership holders, you will receive a special 2-year warranty with your purchase on the M4 Mac mini here today. It still includes the usual 1-year Apple warranty, just like it does at Amazon and other authorized retailers, but you’ll get a little extra peace of mind with it as well. Again, this is not extended AppleCare+, but it does add an extra layer of coverage on your investment. 

We have seen a few rare drops under $499 at Amazon in the past, but this machine rarely goes for any less than we have here today, and anytime you can score Apple’s arguably most value-packed current-generation machine – the least pricey M4 chip-equipped Mac on the planet in fact – you’re doing just fine.
