Amazon is now offering a deep price drop on the upgraded 512GB 11-inch iPad (A16) down at $499 shipped. While you can score the most affordable config down at $299 right now, the regularly $649 model with 4x the storage capacity is now $150 off the list price. 

Today’s deal is landing on the blue, silver, and yellow 512GB models to deliver the lowest price we can find on the upgraded configuration. This offer is only the second time we have tracked a deal this deep since release in March and lands on par with the best price we have seen to date. 

Apple’s iPad (A16) released early this year to replace the aging iPad 10th Gen as the casual offering in the lineup. It might not be Apple Intelligence-ready, nor is it anywhere near the most powerful model in the lineup, but it can make for a relatively affordable way to land a 2025 Apple tablet for less…but that’s really only the case on the most affordable variants. 

Clearly the $150 price drop we have here today on the 512GB is a notable one, but it depends how much you value the bonus storage capacity. We have seen the far more powerful 11-inch M3 iPad Air down at $499 several times this year, and once even lower at $479. That model only has 128GB of storage, but it is running on an M series Apple chip and delivers a significantly higher-end experience in my opinion. 

You’re certainly not going to be getting a 512GB M3 iPad Air or any other current-gen Apple tablet anywhere near the $499 price tag we have here today on the A16, and for my money I’d go 128GB M3 Air if I was going to spend $500, but today’s deal is a deep one, on par with the best price ever, and there for folks looking for the most affordable half TB iPad in the lineup.
