I added a HomeKit-friendly doorbell to my smart home a year or so ago and I must say, I think the Apple Home app does it better than anyone else. I’ve used all the platforms and Apple’s is my favorite. Yes, it’s often pricier to buy stuff that works with Apple, but with Matter hitting more and more products, that’s becoming less of an issue. This doorbell can get you started and it runs on battery power so you won’t have to worry about wiring it.
